Sherbrooke Community School, established in 1985, is a P-12 alternative
to neighbourhood schools. It is small, yet through its innovative
structures, provides a comprehensive P-12 curriculum for a wide range
of student abilities and aspirations.

The school is situated on the Mount Dandenong Tourist Road on the
outskirts of the Sassafras township. Sherbrooke Community School
has an increasing student population which is now approaching 160.
Students are drawn from a wide area covering the Dandenong Ranges,
the outer eastern suburbs and the Yarra Valley.
