fundraisingFundraising is a team effort between parents, students, staff, school council and our community to raise money for items to benefit the kids.
Our fundraising efforts are headed up by the Fundraising/Communications/Marketing Committee (Affectionately known at our school as "The FUN Committee") and ably assisted by our Parents Group. Everyone in our school community (past and present) are welcome to take part. Just ask Gail in the office to pass your interest on to us :) |

ADIDAS SCHOOL FUN RUN 2016
The fun-run was run and won at Ferny Creek Reserve. All students competed in their Year Levels for their house, there was a splendid sense of community and good vibes with all students dusting off their running shoes and completing the challenging course!
A massive shout out to the many students that raised money for the fun-run. Children of all ages either raised money online or by trekking the streets! The grand total was an amazing $2500! This clearly beats last year’s total of $1880. The money went towards new portable soccer goals for the kids. Watch for a date for this year's event! |
world environment day - fundraising for orangutans! In 2015 we held Wild Onesie Day - an event to raise money to rescue orangutans from extinction.
The kids learned about how deforestation for palm oil threatens this species and what they can do to make a difference. The kids efforts with the onsie dress up, a sausage sizzle and cake stall raised over $300 - enough to sponsor TWO orphaned orangutans! You can learn more about our orangutans and read their jungle school reports in our newsletters. This is now an ongoing project and each year the students organise events to support our two organgutan adoptees. Watch "Latest News" and Compass for detail of upcoming events. |
