Fundraising Concert For Sherbrooke Family |
Help Aden and his Mum bounce back after the loss of their house in a recent storm by coming to the Fundraising Concert. Thursday 21st August 6.30 PM to 8PM Sherbrooke Community School Hall - 311 Mt Dandenong Tourist Rd Sassafras $5 per adult $2 per child |

Host Families and Exchange Students |
Girls and boys aged 15-18 are hoping to be placed with a voluntary host family. If you would like to host someone from Belgium, Brazil, France, Holland, Germany, Italy, Japan, Norway or Sweden for a half, one or two semesters, please ring Klaus Schumann on (03)97584279. The student you choose would share your lifestyle, becoming a member of your family as much as possible. |

ADVANCE NOTICE OF THE 6, 7,8 CAMP! |
An adventure packed Years 6-8 camp is currently being organised for the 28th to 30th October. (2 nights/ 3 days) The camp will be held at the renowed Eumeralla Scout Camp in Anglesea. We will be bunking in the brand new eco-huts. Some of the planned activities include: surfing lessons, mountain bike riding, challenge valley, orienteering, campfire fun, archery and bush survival games. Put this date in your diaries as it will be a jam packed, fantastic time for all involved. More info to be announced soon. |

GREAT VICTORIAN BIKE RIDE |
Seven students from Years 7 to 10 have paid their deposits to participate in the 590 km Graet Victorian Bike Ride over nine days in December. The weekly afterschool bike ride training continues each Wednesday with longer Saturday morning training rides to commence soon. We are also organising a PRM/ cycling class at VIBE Gym in the very near future. |

GYM! |
Students in years 9 and 10 have the opportunity to participate in a gym program on Friday afternoons at VIBE Gym at Emerald. This program will be extended to the Years 6 to 8 students from Week 7 of term 3 and into term 4. Please direct enquiries to George Vlamakis if wishing to participate. Cost is $5 per gym session. |
