Climate Quilt 350
|
Today we had our 350 day. We started off with videos telling us about the importance of the number 350 especially to our very own pygmy possum. We wrote our pledges as to how we are going to live lightly on the earth. These were put on cloth patches with the unifying element being the number 350. These will go to make up a world quilt to be taken to Copenhagen in December to try to influence the governments of the world.

We then went out the back of the school and formed a human 350 sign.
|
The day was topped off with a number of student environmental activists given 350 T-shirts as a reward for their efforts around the school.
