Night of the Notorious |
At the end of Term 2 2008, students in the 9/10 Humanities program conducted a "Night of the Notorious". The students investigated a "notorious figure" and presented on the night to teachers and parents in the character of hteir historical figure. This was a student negotiated enquiry unit which involved investigating the social context and similarities and differences between of "Gangs,Cults and Organised Crime". Throughout the year students study a mixture of student negotiated and teacher directed topics. |

Literacy Coaching |
Sherbrooke Community School was invited to be part of the Literacy Improvement Team Strategy in Semester 2, 2006. The Principal and key staff participated in a series of Professional development activities in Term 4, 2006. |
